Valerie Hazan: Profile

Valerie Hazan is Professor of Speech Sciences in the Department of Speech, Hearing and Phonetic Sciences (SHaPS), which is part of the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences at UCL. She is also currently Head of the SHaPS Research Department.

She primarily works with Dr Outi Tuomainen, research affiliate on our funded grant, Giulia Borghini, PhD student and a number of students carrying out research projects linked to our research.  She is the second supervisor of Jieun Song and Gise Tome Lourido (SHaPS), Sam Green (Linguistics) and Sophie Meekings (ICN). External collaborators include Jeesun Kim and Chris Davis from MARCS Institute in Australia and Doug Brungart from Walter Reed in the US.
